Hiya. I have a dilemma...
I have a fantastic relationship with my girlfriend although we have been going a bit downhill recently... I can't help fantasizing about one of my best friends though, she is one of the kindest, most precious people in my life alongside my girlfriend and I think I may be falling in love with her. She reminds me of what it means to be happy, and I can't help but thinking we might have a chance... My girlfriend at the moment doesn't like me smoking cigarettes or cannabis, but this girl doesn't mind any of it, even does it herself sometimes. I think that I could be so happy with this girl, but I still love my current girlfriend so much. I was wondering if anybody had any advice aboout how to approach the situation... thanks.

Well, I think that you should do whatever you think is right.. I say that you do what you feel like if you like your best friend maybe it's right for you 2 break it off w/ your g/f but I'm not saying follow what I'm saying I'm saying do what u THINK is right and whatever u Want to do 2...

Being with someone who has similar likes and dislikes is always good in a relationship.
I would give it a little time, see who you would rather be with. Since you said you and your current girlfriend's relationship seems to be going downhill a little, it shouldn't be too long before something happens. Either you both will solve the issues, or she won't be your girlfriend.
Many yrs ago, I had many girlfriends, some at the same time! We change our minds as we go, meeting new people, and they in turn, change their minds also.
If you want to, why not try being around this new girl, without your girlfriend being there, too. Talk with her some, find out what she likes and dislikes. I'm sure you and she can find some time together, without your current girl around.
But, if they are "best friends", you have to be prepared to accept that they will eventually talk about you. You will have to decide which you want for a girlfriend. I do wish you the best of luck, and try not to make either girl mad.

First the advice above^^^ me is totally right on, but maybe something that would help you is if you write a list of what you like in and dislike in both see what comes out and that might help in your decision making, also try to remember that you can like 2 people at the same time, it's has happened before and maybe you will want to wait it out and see if you eventually start to lean towards one or another, just remember that that you shouldn't cheat on your girlfriend if you feel like it's just not going to happen then tell her and hopefully she will take it well, all in all it's your decision so good luck.

I would say leave the girl you are with, she deserves better.

First why would someone young actually choose to smoke, all it does,
ALL, is kill you, it has no value at all.
You may even be able to justify a little value in POT ( better than beer or so on.) But then Pot is illegal,

so you are sujecting this girl to second hard smoke, and endangering her to being arrested when you have pot on you.

What a real catch for someone.

You need to consider what and where your value and interest are.

I don't think the guy above me gets it^^^ we are not judging elco instead he has asked us about what to do with his problem, not his smoking problem and or cannabis problem, he asked about his relationship not whether we deem him good enough to have girls after but instead help him decide between the two girls. If your best friend is not interested in u. u will lose her as well as your current girlfriend and as Fr_Chuck said, smoking isn't good for u. It would be nice to have someone stopping you from doing that.
