Kenmore Model 41741042000 Not Draining Fully
I have a Kenmore Model 41741042000 front loader that is not draining the water fully leaving approximately 3" of water in the tub. There is also a strong odor. Does this problem require a service call or is there a relatively procedure I could do such as cleaning a filter or something like that?

    Thank you. Janet

Other than checking the drain hoses at the pump and at the drain pipe call for help unless you are handy and redy to handle more difficult repair.

Thank you very much for your reply! The service man came out and it was the water pump. He also check the back bearings or something like that and he said they are starting to fail too. All this in a washer that is only 5 years old. Had the pump replace hoping it'll last 6 months or more longer.
