Yesterday was my second day of work (it's part-time) I think I am going to like it once I am done with the training. I picked up my daughter from daycare - she was crying. She first said it was because she missed me. One of the teachers mentioned her hair clip was taken away and she got upset. When we were in the car she confirmed it. SHe said it was starting to slip and she needed help to get it back in. Her teacher told her to leave it alone and when she didn't -it was taken away. So, she got upset. She said the teacher wasn't mean - but it hurt her feelings. And she said she never wanted to go back. It broke my heart. More so because I have never had her in daycare and I want every minute to be fun for her (unrealistic - I know). I told her that she would have to go back and she said she understood. She is just very sensitive. And for some reason, she thinks that if something is taken away from her (no matter who is doing the taking) she will NEVER get it back, so she reacts accordingly. It was just sad to see her unhappy - this is new for all of us and it was only day 2! |

Well it's just dαy 2 αnd she's not quite used to the people αnd environment yet-- everything will go well kids αdjust to αlmost αnything! Awww, NowWhat, don't fret sweet. She sounds like a wonderful girl. You know not every day will be exciting for her and this is probably really good that she can deal with these things from other people. She is getting so big... I know it is hard, it will be a bit different when school starts, right? Let her know that you love her and tell her she is a great girl for being so sweet!
