    Frame.dll keeps popping up
Every time I start or restart the computer, a window opens indicating "frame.dll not located" This just started about a week ago. It doesn't appear to affect anything, but I have to keep clicking until it goes away. I use Firefox, if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Joe

Sounds like something was uninstalled but not completely. Try running MSCONFIG and seeing is something is calling that DLL.

Go to start>Run and type MSCONFIG. Go to the starup tab. Uncheck anything you don't know belongs.

I did that and recognized nothing, so I disabled everything. When I rebooted nothing came up on the very bottom of my screen, where the time is. I went back and restored everything. When the window opens up after I have disabled anything, it asks me to accept the changes or not, I can't remember if the "frame" message came up when I disabled everything, because I couldn't go anywhere. I have rebooted so many times to check that now I've lost track of what I'm doing.

The original message said something about replacing the "frame.dll". How would I do that ? Sorry for being a pain. Joe

You may have to restore each checked item one at a time until you find the culprit. But what happened does indicate to me the file was removed and you just need to remove the startup entry.
