    Remodeling Old Bath-NO experience
I have removed old cast Iron tub and want to replace with tub and surround however, there is a picture window right in the middle of the would be surround. I am fairly certain I should board it up as the surround seems rather difficult to work with . I have had several people tell me to tile around the window and or cut the window out of the surround. I am not sure which is the lesser of the two evils.? Thanks in advance!

If it is the only window in the bathroom, then it would be practical to keep it. Who wants a bathroom without a window ? One needs fresh air to keep all those germs down to a reasonable level in a steamy bathroom. I have put in a surround and if I had a window to deal with I certainly want to know options on keeping it.

What We Do Is Spray The Inside Of The Glass Black, And Set The Surround In,
There's No Need To Tear It Out Aside From Just Removeing The Casing
