    Remodeling Home
:o Hello. We are in the middle of remodeling our home and I am trying to decide whether it would be easier to antique my kitchen cabinets versus going with the stained look. My cabinets are currently painted and I would prefer them to be a light shade of brown stain. How would I do that myself.

If your cabinets are painted you may have to rule out stain. You will have to get down to the bare wood to use the stain... antique may be easier. Some home stores will show you how for free

If You've Never Removed Paint Before Off A Door, Id Advise You Not To. This Is One Job That Will Start On Saturday And Take Up More Time Than You Ever Thought, Its Very Tedious And It Has To Be Done Right Or Your Notice Any Short Cuts.
If You Want To Antique The Cabnits , You May Try Some Glazing,
Keep The Cabnits There Color But Use A Brown Glaze As An Accent On All The Edges And Corners Of The Doors
