    How do I get costody of my child back from my perents
    I want my 8yo son back from my perents who he has been living with for the last 5 years, and he wants to be with me but I have no idea where to start! He is with me right now for the summer and I don't want him to have to go back. My mother is part of an extreem religion or more she is extreem about it and also my perents are just to old and busy to be taking care of him. I admit I was messed up in the past but I have changed and an very stable now. I have no bad records or any thing agenced me and never have but I don't know if that's enough? I don't know the first step

    Well I signed over temp cutody 5 years ago and my sicho mother has been fighting me on and off ever since but this is the first time I got really serious about it because my son wants to be with me now and before he didn't want to leave there so I wasn't going to make him.

    You'll have to file a motion to modify the custody order. Present the evidence that you've shared here. As his mother that gives you a solid leg to stand on. As long as there's merit to the claims you've made here, I'd say your chances are very good.
