    New Basement Shower Drain Installation
    Hello All,

I currently have a basement bathroom with just a toilet and a sink. I'm planning on installing a corner shower utilizing the Kerde Schluter system. As there is no rough in for the shower drain, I guess my main questions are:

How deep into the concrete slab do I have to dig in order to install the drainage for the shower.

    I'm assuming I need a p-trap?

    Thanks In Advance

The depth will be determined by how deep the pipe is that you're connecting to.
If the basement lavatory's vented you can connect the shower drain to the lavatory drain and it will be wet vented. Yes, you will have to "P" trap the shower drain. Good luck, Tom
