    Dusseldorf Gallery=20 german artist=etchings
    I would like to find out a little about this book and what it might be worth. It contains 20 etchings on satin by german artist. It states that there was 350 copies made. So many in India paper =china paper=5 in satin and so on. This book states it's #5 of satin. The pages are made of vellum and there's a text with each picture. Published in 1888 by estes and lauriat=University Press= John Wilson and Son=cambridge, Ma. Copyright 1887

    If you mean that there were only 350 printings of the book made; the material on the inside of the book is unusual in it's construction and the book copyrighted in 1887, then I think that the book might be worth quite a bit of money.

    Does the book appear to be part of a set of books? If so, then it's value might not be as much if the other books in the set are not present as part of the whole set.

    Does it say anything about what printing it is? Like First Edition, Second Edition, etc.

    You might find ideas about the value of this book on the following site, if you find some books that are comparable to it.

    Hi, I'm not sure if this is a set . I don't think so. Nothing about first or second ed. The cover is rough but the etchings are in great shape on satin cloth and signed by the artist. I tried to find out about the publisher and press -university press- it keeps bringing up a harvard? Well thanks for the help I'll keep looking
