Does he just want me as a friend or is it more?
I've had a crush on this guy for years, but we've both always been in relationships with others. We ran into each other a couple of weeks ago and it turns out we both just got out of relationships and are both single. I asked him out and we've gone out twice, and he seems to enjoy spending time with me but hasn't made any romantic moves. The second time, we went to a movie and came back to my place afterwards, but I sat on the couch and he sat in a chair! Is there any chance that he is interested or is it hopeless? He is really friendly and remembers things I say, asks me about why my relationship didn't work out, hugs me good bye, but... nothing else. Is he taking it slow or am I delusional?

Well coming from a guy that takes it so slow that girls think I'm not interested!. hehe I think he is interested.. I don't know about him but I don't really stay round at friend girls.. houses 1 on 1... unless there is something there.. take him out to a movie.. or dinner.. maybe even get a few glasses of wine.. ;) that always seems to losen things up a bit.. then maybe try making a move. I tell you there is nothing sexier than a girl making the first move.. even touching of a hand rubing it.. and holding on for a while.. that can say more than any words could :)

At least that's how I love it :)

    Good luck to you
    Hope it all works out

I would say that having just got out of a relationship himself and knowing that you have too that he is moving forward warily and slowly. Which is a good thing. It shows that he is a genuine man and is not only cautious of rushing in for his sake but for yours also. He may be asking lots for questions about your past relationship so he can gauge where your at and if he thinks you are ready for something new.

Remember that is very unhealthy to use someone else to get over an ex. It sounds as though this guy certainly isn't looking at doing that, or being that. Good sign!!

Just continue to go forward slow with him. Don't push him. He probably isn't ready for too much yet.

Just be sure to make each time your with him as fun and light as possible. If he enjoys being with you and goes home at night with a smile on his face then he won't be able to wait to do it again. And pretty soon you'll have a blossoming relationship on your hands. Push him too fast though and he will run and you'll be left to wonder what might have been.

Do you understand what I'm getting at??

It sounds like he is a good guy. Respect that and understand why he may be how he is!
