    Craftsman weedeater
My craftsman weedeater won't start. I have changed the spark plug, put all new fuel mixture, and placed the choke lever in the OFF CHOKE position; then pulled the rope to clear the engine of excess fuel.

Just checking but did you gap your plug at .030 and use a 40:1 mix of fuel? Does it pop or cough at all?

Yes I gap the spark plug and did 40:1 mixture. No noise at all.
