This is yet another animal problem.
I have 2 female rabbits they are about 9 months old and they try to get on eachothers back I'm not sure whether they are trying to mate or fight, but they try to bite each other, they can't bite each other as we had their teeth out because they were overgrown. Now one of them has started to scratch my mum when she puts her hand in the hutch!
What's HAPPENING?!
p.s I can't handle them how can I get them used to me again!

Almost certainly when (if you are sure they are both female) 2 of the same sex animals try to mount each other it is a sign of them trying to assert their dominance over the other 1.. 1 wants to show the other that it is the leader...

I would try to get them sexed again however just to be sure as my friend has brought rabbits that were sexed as 2 females and low and behold a few month later they were the proud parents of 18 babies :o

I would consider getting them both neutered or even get rid of 1 and replace with a guinea pig as they get on really well with rabbits..

Spend a lot of time and patience trying to handle them.. take them out one at a time on neutral territory. And stroke them , yes they will bite, they will kick but if you don't try you will never get them tame again..

I had a neutered male rabbit and a female rabbit who used to get on his back.
For my rabbits it didn't affect them as during feeding whilst Treacle was asserting her authority, Roly was already eating the food so in the end she always gave up and joined him.

If they are of different sexes and one of the rabbits is pregnant then that could explain the biting and scratching. If so, remove the male and only let them meet on nuetral territory. Personally, I wouldn't recommend "getting rid of one" - especially without knowing all the reasons as to why they are behaving strangely but it really depends on how you can cope.
