    Title transfer
    Title transfers (home sales) are posted in the newspaper. Is the date indicated the date of the closing or is it the date the title transfer is recorded?

    Not posted in my area at all, so I guess it will depend on what your court reports. If you want to verify a certain property, go to the court house and verify. My guess ( and it is just a guess) it will be the date it was recorded.
