Me and my girlfriend had sex feb 9. she told me she was pregnant a week later. She's exspecting the baby around sept 26 - oct 11. S the baby mine?

If you are the only person she was having sex with, then yes. If not, then you will have to wait until it is born and have a paternity test done.

Those dates don't calculate. If she got pregnant in February, she'd be due in November. I'd have a talk with her if I were you.

No, they don't calculate. But the only way currently to determine paternity is after the baby is born.

With the 40 week pregnancy it might even be late November early December. But like J_9 said, get a paternity test if you are unsure :)

Trust me, we are women with children. With a 40 week pregnancy, it would be November/December.

You see, pregnancy is nine months long if she got pregnant in February (that is the second month of the year) add the nine months to that and it gives you November.

Without knowing the first day of her period in February, I can't give you a proper calculation.

If this was the first time you had sex, and then she tells you one week later that she was pregnant, the timing doesn't work out. She wouldn't know a week after having sex.or were you having sex back in mid-late December? If not then it would be from someone else, but if so, there's still the chance that it is yours. Also, has she gone to the doctor, is that how she knows her due date, or is she calculating it herself? Also, that is a very broad range for her to be expecting her due date, its like a 15 day gap. Does she not know the exact date of her last period, or why is her expected due date so broad?

Buggage is right, you would have had to have sex in December last year for her to be due september/october.

Something smells fishy to me... If you had sex in Feb. how would she know one week later that she is pregnant? You can't know that soon. And for her due date to be in September and not November?? I am not saying this isn't your baby because the only way to really find out is a paternity test but I am saying that this situation sounds strange. Are there other cirrcumstances going on? For example, did you try to break up with her and then she sprung the pregnancy thing on you? Until you found out if this baby is your I suggest you be supportive and be the best father you can be.

Bide your time. Wait for the baby to be born and then request a paternity test.

Yep... as everyone has said, the dates don't match up... not only would she not know she was pregnant ONE WEEK after you both had sex, from when you had sex (if she did get pregnant then) the due date would be much later.

Have you been in a long-term relationship with this girl? Or has it been short, thus she may have had other sexual partners?

It's sounds possible, if you are thinking the baby is not yours, that she may have been with someone else... knew she was pregnant, had sex with you, then told you it was yours.

I would definitely get a paternity test the minute the child is born... there is nothing you can really do before then.

A bit of advice to save you trouble down the road... if you have ANY doubts that you are the biological father of this child DO NOT sign the birth certificate until you have a paternity test done. If you sign the birth certificate, you are acknowledging that you ARE the father... you are then responsible for child support etc.

The earliest she would have that baby if she got pregnant in feb and carried full term is nov. but probably close to being the beginning of December. I got pregnant in October was due end of July but she decided to go 2 days into Aug. :)
