Why would there be a raw sewage odor in a bathroom a various times when not in use. Plumbers find no leaks inside or outside of home. No backups, etc.

The basement bath odor is not exactly coming from the bathroom. It is from the tank(? ) area behind the wall. The smell (where the tank is) travels out a closet to one room.
