    What oil to use
    I am going to get my oil changed and I have a 2007 Nissan altima what oil do I out in it?

    I recommend you use Mobil 1. The viscosity for your car is 5W-30 (I checked). You really want to use a full-synthetic oil with modern-day cars. Much better protection, better gas mileage, cooler running engines, better performance, etc. Change the oil and filter every 6,000 miles or 6 months, whichever comes first.

    If you really want to take good care of your engine, use one of the new premium oil filters. Premium oil filters, such as PureOne, have a silicone rubber anti-drain back valve that makes a real difference in not allowing the oil to drain from horizontally mounted filters overnight. This provides much quieter valves at startup. These new premium filters (e.g. PureOne, Amsoil Ea, and Mobil 1 EP) are worth the money, in my opinion. Filtration is rightfully the new "big thing" in lubrication.
