Hampton Bay Exterior Motion Detect Lights...
This will be a dumb question, but our contractor put up two of the Hampton Bay Motion Detecting lights on our detached garage. The problem is that they pitched the boxes, and the directions before we even had a chance to figure them out. Now, only the test works, which stays on for 10 seconds. On any other setting, 2-6-dusk to dawn, the lights never come on. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful. The guy at Home Depot was clueless, and I'm not going to buy another set of lights just to get directions on how to work them.

Again, thanks for any and all help.

I would go to home depot... open the box and read the instruction... or buy the item then copy the instruction then return the item... *** there are 2 slides (dials)... one to adjust the time on (test 4 min 14 min 2hr 6 hr etc)... the other is sensitivity LMH... put it on 14min... and M turn off the power and wait 10 min then turn it back on then tape up the lite sensor ( little hole about 3/16 dia facing down: in the bottom of the whole sensor head) ***or wait for it to get dark and test it out

My HB flood lights stopped working recently, but if I turn the unit to "test", wave my hand in front of the sensor, the lights pop on. Turning it back to 1,5, or 10 minute timer delay does not work, even in the dark. Faulty opical sensor? Would that prevent the unit from operating in timer mode?
