I am 6 weeks pregnant but getting a slight brownish discharge most days over the last week. Should I be worried that I might miss carry or is this norm. If norm how long does it last? This is my first pregnancy

While bleeding can be entirely normal for some women during pregnancy, that is not always the case. Any bleeding during pregnancy should be addressed with your doctor. Please contact your doctor.

Yes I had some bleeding and cramping 4 weeks ago, called my doctor, they got me in right away and did some blood work, an ultrasound, and a vaginal exam to make sure all was well, and it was... They are used to this and will most likely want to see you to be sure... plus I got a nifty first picture of my little 6 week old alien blob... haha..

Everyone else has pretty much said it all. Just make sure you talk to your doctor. Chances are its nothing to be worried about, but its always better to be safe then sorry. And no need to worry about " bothering" the doctors unnecisarily. It's their job, and you aren't the only one to have questions. Besides, when it comes to your health and the health of your baby, no question is ever too silly to ask. They would rather you be overly cautious, then not cautious enough.
