Wasn't sure where to post this one...
I know people crack their bones every now and then, but I have always been a bit weird.
I have looked on the internet, and it seems if it is causing pain to go to the docs.so I did...
My right wrist will crack all the time, as in if I'm sat down and go to get up when I put my hand down my wrist will crack, it wouldn't be so bad, but it hurts quite badly sometimes.
The noise from it is horrible, sounds like my bones are grinding together.
Before the crack its like it builds up to it, as in I will get like a burning sensation in my wrist,thumb and forearm, the after a while the crack will happen and it gives a lot of relief,but then there is pain afterwards.the shoulder of the same arm cracks as well.
Also, say if I am holding something in that hand, my hand will suddely let go or whatever I am holding.. lost so many cups this year its unbelievable! I have no control over it, its like my hand will open without me doing it!
The doctor simply told me not to crack... any advice would be good, I would rather not have pain everyday, I have tried support around my wrist, it helps but then when I take it off the crack is 100 times worse.

I don't have an answer for you. However, I also do not know what kind of doctor you went to. I would recommend you seeing an osteopathic (bone and joint) doctor if you have not done so already.
