    Missed period
I have missed my period by 10 days. Did pregnancy test 4 times in these 10 days but it is negative. Even went to a doc and they did my blood test- that too negative. My hb is a lilttle low and doc gave me progestrone tablets for 5 days. The 5 day course is over but I have still not got my periods. I am worried. Last month was stressfull cause of exams and I had brown discharge before my due date. What could be the cause? Can it be chalmydia?

If you have any thoughts what so ever about having a std please please go get yourself checked properly they can cause all sorts of problems if you leave them untreated.

It could well just be the stress of exams it can play havoc with our bodys just one of the great things about being a women.

I hope you understand, but we cannot make a diagnosis of an STD over the internet, you must have an exam by your doctor for that.

With that said, and please make another appointment for that, stress can cause strange things to happen to you, such as missed periods, unusually short or long periods, etc.

Hey... the doc told me that it takes about a week for periods to start after the medication is stopped... so, nothing to worry about at the moment. Lets see what happens in this week.

Yes I will stop worrying now... in fact I felt relieved after seeing my doctor yesterday. My boyfriend is also trying his best to make me stay calm and cheerful. And you all are always there for support and advice, so I guess there's not much to worry about now. Just hoping that the medicine will have a positive effect. :)

    Hello everyone!
Good news... finally I got my periods yesterday(though more than 2 weeks late). Thank god the medicine worked. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that everything remains normal.
