    Deprovera shot
    Im 39 yrs old my dad passed away of heart problems and I smoke cigarettes they say I should not take the pil and the depo shot is better and safe for me is this true

    You should consult your personal physician on this. Birth control of any kind has a high risk of blood clots and/or stroke past the age of 30, especially in smokers.

    Please make a doctor's appointment to discuss this with your healthcare provider.
