    State tax form
    Thanks for your service.

    I used wrong form in tax year 2004 and changed 1040NR from 1040EZ. Even though I was a non-resident, I used a wrong form which was 1040EZ in 2004.
    If I amended a form(1040EZ -> 1040NR ), should I change a state tax form?
    My wife never have a job in U.S and we chose a married jointly return about state tax in tax year 2004. If I need to change my state tax form, should I choose a married separately return?

    Although I change our status( jointly -> separately ), our refund will be same of state tax. If I must change our status of state tax, I will amend our state return form.

    I hope your answer. Thanks!

    No state tax return amendment should be needed.
