I had my tubes tied after my son was born 7 years ago. I also have a 9 year old daughter. My son had a severe case of colic after he came home and I made the decision 3 months after his birth to get my tubes tied after that. Well, in 2005 I had to get a total hysterectomy. Since then, my husband and I have divorced and I've moved on with my life w/a new beau in my life. We have been together close to a year, and I have that urning of wanting another baby. I also believe he wishes I could have more children, too. He has a 7 year old from his previous marriage. I held a newborn baby the other day and he felt so right. I had a hard time giving her back to her mother. Will this feeling ever go away? And if it does, when? I know there's always the option of adopting, but from what I've been told, it's a very long process and expensive. Please help!:(

Its normal to feel this feeling. Not only are you a woman(and we women often have baby cravings through out life) but you are making a new start in life with this new man, and it just feels right to you to want to make a new life together in every aspect. I'm afraid I can't give you much info on the whole adoption process, I'm not really sure how it all works, or how to go about it. I am sure someone else on this site will be able to help out more.
