    I am a low income person, where do I go to file a divorce at low to no cost.

    You need to speak with your state's Legal Assistance Project. They go by a sliding scale fee, based on income. The Project receives federal funds for part of their work, so there should be one in every state. Good luck.

    Also see if there is a legal aid office in your county. But there will be a court fee that normally has to be paid, and if the other party will not just agree to the terms of the divorce the longer the court battle, the money it is going to cost.
