I was pregnant in 2006 and had a little boy in April of 2007. After he was born I started taking the depoprovera shot and took it until January which was when I was suppose to go back to get my new shot late fabuary but decided that I didn't want to because my husband and I want to start to conceive. I have been off the shot since jan which was when I was told that the shot would wear off because I had already been on it since November. Now I am confused because I have been off it for this long and I am still not pregnant and I am wondering what is going on with my body?

Oh blimey they didn't tell you the real side effects did they? It will take 6 months if not more to leave your system and after that then it can take anywhere up to a year to conceive anyway.
I was on the jab for 9 years it took 2 years to conceive I was extreamly lucky to even be able to the stuff is seriously weird and plays havoc with your body there are a lot of women out there that never do conceive after receiving it not all of them were as lucky as me.
Saying all this though don't get yourself into a panick but be prepared for a wait before you finally fall pregnant your body has to get its self back into a normal cycle.
