    Bypass Limiter
    Hunter ceiling fan, 5 minute model with 3 light kit. Reversible 3 speed fan.

    The limiter went out and after replacing the light kit the same thing happened. Hunter has had 100's of complaints, same problem.

    I want to bypass the limiter. Need to know how

    Cut the wattage limiter out and connect the wires directly to one another.

    If we tell you and your house burns down then what? Find the 2 wires on the limiter, cut them and then rejoin. Now you are in violation of the NEC. At your discretion, do what you want. PS you also void the UL approval. Look on You Tube. "Fan voltage limiter".
