My blood pressure is 155/101 I'm 45 weigh 200 lbs. Do I need to go to the dr.

I agree.. that is WELL into the range for hypertension. And they do call it the silent killer for a good reason. Left untreated there is a long list of bad things it will cause. Including Strokes and death. Do not take it lightly, because you might otherwise feel good..

While I may not say ASAP I would say within the next week or two.
The old standard was 120/80 and the newer version for most insurance companies to pay for medication is 140/90.

There are many reasons from jobs, stress and diet and others to why we have high blood pressure.

I can contest that I had it for and used medication for over 20 years. A change in diet for a year lowered mine and it is now 115/70 with no medication,

So see a doctor and work on a healthy life style.
