    If the fan did not come with pull chains you will need to buys a switch for about $5.00 Morris Products 70025 Pull Chain 3 Way/2 Circuit by Morris Products | Toolfetch then you climb a ladder and open the canopy to expose the wiring. Before I go any further is there a light kit?

    Not quite as easy as a switch. You will need to find what wires connect the fan and the different speeds. Then drill a hole in the canopy and install the switch after removing all the remote controls. Quite honestly, with the price of fans, I would probably replace.
