    Why do you believe they are harassing you. How do you know they gave out info about you and to whom?

    Any question on law needs your general locale as laws vary by area.

    Generally you fix the code violation, or hire a lawyer to fight for you, if you have a case.

    Usually it's something in the yard, dogs, junkers, untended grass, garbage. If it's just what people don't like to look at, my sympathies. If it's a health or fire or noise hazard, no sympathy - and those can be inside the house too. How can interiors be a hazard? Fires and rats can spread.

    If you own the house... its public record and not private what your name is and that you own it. Also many places zoning violations etc are also part of the public record.
