Usually it's something in the yard, dogs, junkers, untended grass, garbage. If it's just what people don't like to look at, my sympathies. If it's a health or fire or noise hazard, no sympathy - and those can be inside the house too. How can interiors be a hazard? Fires and rats can spread.

If you own the house... its public record and not private what your name is and that you own it. Also many places zoning violations etc are also part of the public record.
