    Moving expenses - F1 student
I am an F-1 student who has switched universities. In my former university, I was an employee (research assistant) who used to receive W-2 s. In my new university however, I am on a fellowship and have received a 1098-T instead. Am I entitled to claim moving expenses?

You need to be employed at the new location. It does not look to me like you are employed.

I tend to agree. There MUST be employment at the new location to justify the moving expenses.
