    Vanity light
    Light fixture in room has 1 black and 1 white wire. The light I want to install has 4 white, 4 green and 1 red wire, how do I connect them

    Don't think I have ever seen that combination. Can you get us a model or brand?

    Does sound odd. By color, The whites go to white, greens go to green or bare(ground) and the black would go to the red. 4 Reds, 4 whites and 1 green would have made better sense. Is the red tied to 4 other reds or 4 blacks?
