What would be a great first date for teens
So me and my boyfriend have been going out for a couple months now and I was just wondering what would be a great first date for us to have. Thanks!

Do your parents know you are dating? I don't believe in couple dating at 13. You guys can go as a group to see a movie or maybe his parents can have you over for lunch.
What does dating mean at 13?

Are your parents okay with your dating? Will you need their transportation services? Also, if you have already been "going out," haven't you already had a first date? I agree with Homegirl that group dating is more appropriate at your age.

I have a feeling that 'dating' these days means 2 things (maybe 3 later): first just casually hanging out, and then planning something together, like a movie.
I see no reason why you can't both ask your parents what they would be OK with, and be willing to drive you to and from.
Cheap eats and a movie, going Dutch (you each pay your own way), doesn't sound unreasonable.
To co-ordinate with a parent driving, how about something in daytime hours only, like getting an ice cream cone and walking in a park.

[Ooops! Good work by Cat on your real age. I amend my suggestions to ice cream and a walk only. PS: Yes, teens tend to lie (I mean exaggerate - no, it really is lying) about their ages, so just tell us. And what grade you enter in the fall. And the truth about his age too!

I was just looking over your past threads and I have a question? How old are you?

Your age seems to keep changing.

July 25, 2014, you are 11 years old.

I am beginning to think you haven't said anything to your mother yet.

The only advice I will give you is to be truthful with us and ask your mother where and when she is willing to allow you to go on dates.

After a GREAT first date... [ 4 Answers ]

I had a GREAT first date with a guy on Tuesday night. We kept it simple - coffee for an hour and a half. There was never a lull in the conversation, no awkwardness at all.
