    It depends on where you live. And if in the US, will depend on state laws. It will also depend on why you want to evict.

    But in general, very basic, you give them written notice to move (how much time will depend on the where and why). If they are not moved by that time, you file for an eviction at the courthouse. (which court will also depend on where) and then there will be an eviction hearing, assuming you win, the court will give them a date to move out on, if they are not, then court officers come and evict them.
