    Stopped up sink
    I recently had my brother unclog my sink in my bathroom. Ever since then, it has had a horrible "rotten egg" smell every time I turn it on. Help.

    Reach under the sink to the back of the drain, unscrew the nut around the lift rod. Should only be hand tight. Pull the lift rod out about 1". You can then remove the drain stopper. Stick a wire coat hanger down the drain and twist it around several times. Pull out all the decaying hair. Put the drain stopper back in the drain, turning it such that the lift rod will hook into the stopper. Push the lift rod back into place and tighten the nut.

    You can also purchase a handy tool for pulling out hair called a zip-it at any home improvement store.

    If you use cold water only is there still a smell?
