    Slow/sometimes stopped sink and dishwasher
    Hi,
When the my dishwasher drains it fills both of the kitchen sinks which will sometimes take more than an hour to drain. And now the dishwasher takes a long time to drain. There is no garbage disposal; we have a septic system. I ran CLR and drain cleaner but it didn't help. I snaked--35 foot snake--no help. The sink slows draining within just several seconds of running water. My next thought was to try a longer snake tomorrow. What do you think?
    Thanks,
    Jon

But did you remove the trap and snake the horizontal drain behind the wall? (see image)
Another place to check is the grease trap on the kitchen and washer drain line, This traps lint and grease before it gets into the septic system and clogs it. It's located on the drain line in your yard, (see image) Good luck. Tom
