    Rear Brakes Need Attention?
We have a 2013 Chrysler 200 , Finally had a chance to get the Snows taken off.. In doing so was told the Rear Brakes need to be Serviced , possibly replace the Pads? There is 42,000km's showing, is that Common? The Front Pads were Ok.. Our previous vehicle had 108,000 on the Rear Brakes before the Pads had to be replaced.. The Front Pads had 65,000km's on them before 1st Replacement.. I do know it's more advantageous to replace the Rotors than turn them.. Cheers Thanks...

See if the pads have worn down to the wear sensors. Rear brake pads are often considerably smaller than those on the front and wear out much faster. If necessary, go with premium ceramic pads, which often come with a lifetime warranty. Regardless, you shouldn't need to machine or replace the rotors, yet.
