    Thumb hurts
    Since last Wednesday my thumb has been swelling up. Its purple colored like a bruise and feels like its blistered but it's not. There's no puncture wound from a bite of any kind. There's no blisters of any kind. I have not hit or bumped it. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time. Renee

    Could be a circulation issue or a bruise or other circumstance. Why not let your doctor look at it? Many drugstores now have walk in clinics.
