I'm trying to remove the old price pfister stem in the shower and I can't... single price pfister stem valve. Not sure the model or part number, just know the house is old, and the plumbing is probably old. I cannot figure out how to remove the cartridge to replace it.

First you turn off the water. Then you remove the handle after the handle is off you can see a sleeve that will slip forward and after that it is pretty straight forward about getting it apart.

My price pfister single handle shower will not adjust between hot and cold water, it stays on hot. Is my stem or valve worn and need replacing?
