    Cant Get pregnant
My husband and I have been married for a year and a half and I know some people tell us to wait on kids but we are ready to have a family. But I can't get pregnant and I my husband thinks it is him because he is disabled with cp(cerebal palsy). Can anyone tell me if that is the reason I am ready for a baby. We have had three scares thinking I was pregnant but I wasn't. It hurts me to see my husband frustrated that he can't get me pregnant. Someone please respond. I don't know if I need to go to a doctor or not.

First off, how long have you been trying? Just to let you know (and to ease the mind of your husband) it can take 6 months to a year of actively trying for a couple to get pregnant. What have you been doing to track your ovulation? It is obviosly important to know when you are ovulating in order to get pregnant. Another thing, try not to stress about getting pregnant so much. You will hear a hundred stories plus a hundred more of women who tried to conceive for years, and when they finally "gave up" or "quit trying" they got pregnant. If you or your husband think that either of you have a fertility issue you should contact your ob/gyn and inform them of your concerns. You should make sure that you are current on you annual exams with your gyn anyway, to make sure that all your mommy parts are healthy. I'm a ripe age of 24 years old, and my hubby has two children from a previous marriage. It took us 6 months of trying, and could very well have taken much longer. I know it is disappointing when your period continues to come, but don't assume the worst. Make a visit with your doctor, and enjoy trying to get pregnant. Good luck and lots of baby dust!

Go to the doctor and get checked out! I tried to get pregnant for 8 months and it turns out my husband had a problem. Our only option was IVF - and after 3 attempts we have 2 beautiful twin girls! It was a shock but my instincts told me something was wrong. Put your mind at ease and see a fertility specialist. It isn't a big deal and could save you time and frustration. Good luck!
