    Master bath shower
When I use our master bath shower, there is a stinky smell that comes down the hallway. Our hot water heater is in a cabinet in the hallway, the smell seems to be coming from the hot water area. Any idea what this is and how to fix the smelly problem?

Make sure the vent is not blocked or disconnected, you could be getting Carbon Monoxide into the house.

Can you be more specific about what kind of smell is it ? Does it smell like sewer or wet rotting wood ?
