Three homes on my street have pipes in the walls that have leaked this year. I live in Florida and all the homes are on slabs and the pipes are in concrete and the homes all about 20 years old. What can cause pipes to leak in this situation and should I considered having my home repiped.

My best guess is that poor original work opened up a leak in response to heat or mechanical stress working on the other line.
