I best way to get out of your parents house is the front door! *rimshot!*

Seriously. How long until your 18th birthday? After that point you can do what you want. Until that point your parents have a good amount of control over you. That doesn't stop you from pressing charges if they're assaulting you.

Mom and Dad shouldn't be hitting you. Sounds like you all should seek professional counseling. Living under your parents rules may be tough, but y

Cont, but you are almost eighteen. I know it's easy for someone else to say... but honor your parents. Meaning, if they are asking you to clean your room , take out trash etc, Your parents will not always be with you.

You can call, the police, tell a teacher, if they are actually hitting you and abusing you.

If true, CPS may take you out of the home and put you in foster care or a group home. Or of course they develop a parenting plan and have parents take parenting classes

Or you wait till 18 and then move out

While the age of consent in Kansas is 16, Clayton should be aware that he still might be asking for trouble if he sets up housekeeping with a minor.

Frankly, I don't believe you. I think you just want to move in with your boyfriend.

But, if it is true that you are being physically abused, then Monday morning report it to your teacher or counselor at school. Family Services will be called in to investigate. Your parents may then be arrested for child abuse. You will then be sent in foster care (not to your boyfriend) until you are 18. Once you are 18 you can leave home (or the foster care system) if you want.

There is a lot of missing background in your question.

Where do you live if Clayton is in Kansas? How do you know Clayton? Have you ever met Clayton in real life? Does Clayton want you to go to Kansas to live with him? Does he have a job to support both you?

Please define 'being mean to you'. How do they 'hit' you?

If your parents abuse you, then contact the counselor at your school (are you still in school?) or another trusted adult and/or the police.

If OP is not in Kansas, Clayton should be aware of the Mann Act. :)
