Options for venting an oil fired boiler
Chimney sweep inspection found missing terracotta liner section in base of oil flue in chimney. Gave a high estimate of $3800 for a liner, its only a small 1 story ranch and the chimney is exterior. Would installing a direct vent be a more reasonable alternative?

I would shop around for a better price on a liner.
