    How to hookup an eletric hot water separate from oil fired boiler
    Simply said I want to shut boiler off and heat water with electric

    You need to install an electric line capable of servicing the new heater,install a new heater and then reroute the water supply and use side to the new heater. What are you trying to heat? House, apartments, commercial location?
