Stomach and thigh loss (am I too young?)
I'm 13 and I have a good weight. I'm 5'3' and I weigh 100-102 pounds. Well, I think that's an OK weight. I want to weigh 90-95 pounds. But the weight isn't my problem. I want to loose inches around my stomach and thighs. Mostly my stomach. I found one way. I was really sick and threw up 15 times. I got a wicked flat stomach but I'm not going to do that everyday. I try to eat healthy, I really do. But it's so hard when you're a kid. I try to exercise too but that doesn't work especially when there's fat covering the muscle. Am I too young anyway? Any suggestions? Thanks.

The weight you weigh now is perfectly healthy.
You shouldn't be worried about that.

But my stomach has fat around it and it sticks out like a sore thumb. Thanks though.

Well, I'm 14 and I have a fatty stomach and I'm 110 so me and my friend go walking every night, and I'm gym were doing fitness which helps, and I do some push ups before I sleep, maybe you should try.

I'm 13 and we already did fitness in gym. I'm a dancer so I used all the leg machines. I try to do sit ups before I sleep. Sometimes, depending on how awake I am, it works. Thanks for the tips!

Exercise is the best option as many suggest but please do not make yourself sick as this is the beginning of an illness and that is the last thing you need, if you feel the need to be ill then see your gp and get help before it takes hold. Take care, love and peace anne x

You are a good weight, but getting sick is not the answer. Even if you just walk, like around the mall or down the street for 1/2 hr, it will help, eating good foods for the most part, is going to help you form good habits, like fruits, seed or nuts and yogurt, instead of chips, candy and ice cream, but you can eat what you like occasionally. If you like riding a bike, or swimming, dancing, these too are good exercises for you body. You a little young to be so worried, just try to exercise when you can, and make healthy choices, for the most part!

trust me you are perfect =D at 13 you shouldn't be worrying about you wieght so much. I promise you that u are at a normal and healthy weight.

Yeah I'm like the same as you almost thirteen and 100-105 so I understand where you are coming from and sometimes I feel bad about my weight but it is normal. And don't lose weight in an unhealthy way, just try to excersise or in gym and even walking places more is good. I am trying to do that and eat healthy more, but don't worry about it too much!

The fat over your stomach will not go away unless you exercise. You can do all the crunches in the world and have a massive 6 pack, but you'll never see it if there's a layer of fat over your stomach, and people don't realize this. Everyone has ab muscles, you just need to get rid of what's covering them up! To get a flat stomach, the only thing is true cardio, as mentioned earlier. Jogging, running, biking, swimming, dancing, whatever you want, as long as it's got your heart rate up and you're panting! Good Luck! :)

Work our with aerobics, resistance training, some form of walking/jogging 4-5 times a week, and make sure your working out for at least 30-60 minutes each time, along with eating good food, this is the secret to getting a firm body, with less body fat. You can achieve what you want just by eliminating sweets like cakes, and cookies, junk foods like chips, fast foods and all fried foods, if you add cutting out all drinks with high fructose corn syrup, you'll be amazed how fast you'll see results. It's watching how much and what kinds of foods your eating, keeping your portions small, but don't eliminate any meals, especially eat a good breakfast. At you age and weight, basically your doing great, just get your body use to regular exercise.
