Harbor Breeze Kingsbury Fan Stopped Spinning?
My husband and I just bought our 3rd Harbor Breeze Platinum Kingsbury 70-in Oil Rubbed Bronze Indoor Downrod Mount Ceiling Fan. We currently have 2 in our living room and bought the 3rd for our bedroom (which is large). It worked great for 5 minutes and then stopped spinning correctly. We changed the switch from the factory setting after thinking that it might have gotten interference with the others in the living room and still no luck. We have checked all the connections.. still no luck. The light works great.. when we turn the switch on it acts like it is going to turn and then stops. Any suggestions other than taking it down and returning it?

Check all your electrical connections. When installing fan/lights you are often connecting a small, single, stranded wire to a single building wire. People often get poor connections by using wire nuts that are to large.

Recently had job of repairing a bedroom door. Customer complains about a fan/light someone had re3cently installed for her. Lights were flickering for several days and then wouldn't come on at all. Installer said fan must be defective. I remove the canopy and could tell immediately by the way things were done that installer was not competent. Immediately found bad connection which resulted from using a wire nut that was to big.
