    Shower diverter fell out

    Okay so I went to shower and pushed it in to get the water from the shower and it leaked a bit water from there. So I pulled it to swith it to the other and it just came out. I am sorry for my bad english.


    So what are the possibilities to fix it or put it back.

    There is no label of the brad name and I do not know the age. Since this is a rental apartment and the owners went to vacation for 2 weeks. I have school starting in few days need to fix it.

    It's a fairly common and easily replaced part if you are allowed to fix it yourself according to your lease/landlord. Is it possible the landlord made arrangements for emergencies in his absence? Its possible you can replace the piece at a local hardware store (Home Depot, Loews in America) just by removing it with a wrench (minus the hose and shower head) and taking it in for matching.

    Does the part you have in your hand screw screw on to something? I believe that it does. Try screwing it back on.
