    John deere l120 running full throttle
    Hi, I have a JD L 120 with a 20 HP Briggs When you start it, it runs wide open with the throttle at idle. Then when you open the throttle it bogs down and shuts off. Any suggestions ?

    Linkage can sometimes slip. Actuate the throttle to see if it rotates the carb throttle arm fully. You could disconnect the linkage and see if you can move the carb arm manually so you can see how to setup the correct connection
