Fan Remote with Light Kit
I have a Harbor breeze ceiling fan E206035, model#MM557kto4. The light works, but the fan will not rotate. It seems the remote activates the fan in the other room, but not the actual intended fan. Now, both fans don't work. Seems odd as one of the fan light kits is from Hunter and the other from Hampton. Now, I'm having problems with the Hampton remote. It does not work. I put in new batteries (no red light). Is there a way to bypass the remote altogether and just use the switch? Both kits do not have a pull string.

More than likely the fan remotes are operating at the same freq.

Do both units have "DIP" switches that you can set? If so, change the switches (only one usually) and make sure it matches the setting on the receiver in the fan.
